During Q3 2024, the top tools apps on the Android platform in Africa saw varying trends in downloads and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

All Video Downloader & Player maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads peaking at 598K in early August, before gradually declining towards the end of the quarter. However, its weekly active users consistently grew from 2.5M at the start of July to reach approximately 3.3M by the end of September.

Xender - Share Music Transfer experienced a notable increase in downloads in early August, reaching 469K, followed by a decrease towards September. The active user base fluctuated, starting at 1.7M and closing the quarter at 1.8M, demonstrating resilience in user engagement.

For SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files, downloads remained relatively stable, with minor peaks and troughs, closing the quarter with around 309K downloads.
